When you contract with Aspen Research, you're supporting and sustaining charities that stand on the front lines in the fight against childhood hunger.
You can make a difference.
- 9 million American children are the recipients of food from a pantry, kitchen, or shelter within the network of America's Second Harvest.
- 13 million American children are food insecure, meaning they are hungry or at risk of hunger.
- 50% of all food stamp recipients are children – 68% of these children are school-age.
- School-age children who experience severe hunger earn poorer grades, and suffer higher levels of chronic illness, depression, and behavior problems than children with no hunger.
- 6 million children worldwide under the age of 5 die every year as a result of hunger.
Remember, you get to donate 25% of the contract fees directly to a childhood hunger charity of your choice. If you don't have a charity in mind, you might want to choose one of the reputable charities I have reviewed.
Why isn't Aspen Research a nonprofit?
Good question, thanks for asking. First, the tax accounting is easier if your company directly donates to the charity of your choice. Second, I believe companies will have more faith in my novel approach to contract work if they control the flow of funds. And third, operating Aspen Research as a for-profit company gives me more flexibility on the types of services I can offer and the methods I choose to implement them.
